Born in 1969 in Istanbul, the artist completed her education at Çukurova University,
Faculty of Education, Department of Graphic Arts. Living in Turkey, the artist started
working as an art instructor in 1991. The artist's painting works have been met with
an audience in national and international art events, solo and group exhibitions.
The artist, who continues her artistic works in her studio in Adana, accepts the
texture of the painting area, which she meticulously creates, as the starting point of
the painting process in her abstract expressionist works. The artist strengthens the
flow of the colors as she chooses from her rich color palette with tools such as
spatula, sponge, sandpaper and techniques such as brush on oil.
Although the artist, who questions consumer communities and ecological values by
combining them with his inner development by using recycled materials in his
Assemblage works, has reflected different thematic adventure periods in his
paintings, the Corona pandemic has transformed this thematic universe of her last
paintings as an effort to be nothing. This transformation; uncontrolled, prone to
improvisation and accepting choices close to organic structure; is reflected in the
process of expression with a reductionist approach.
