What Is the Buyer's Return Period?

The buyer may return the artwork within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of delivery without providing any reason, by exercising their right of withdrawal.

How to Notify a Return?

The buyer must submit their return request in writing to info@galataart.com. Once the artwork is received in complete and undamaged condition at the seller’s address, the refund will be processed to the buyer’s card. However, damaged or defective artworks will not be accepted for return.

How to Return a Damaged Artwork?

Artworks are delivered to the buyer via a designated private shipping company, with a required signature upon receipt. If visible damage, impact, or breakage is detected on the package or the artwork, the buyer must request a damage report from the courier staff.

Courier staff are obligated to record damage reports for damaged shipments. If the courier refuses to issue a damage report, the buyer may either return the package to the courier immediately or inspect it at the courier branch before accepting delivery. Without an official damage report, the buyer cannot prove that the issue originated from the seller or courier company. Therefore, it is crucial to request a report.

When Will the Refund Be Processed?

Once the artwork reaches the seller, the refund will be processed within an average of 3 (three) business days.

Can the Refund Be Exchanged for Another Artwork?

Buyers may request an exchange by contacting the seller through the provided communication channels. The final decision will be made, and the buyer will be informed accordingly.
