Murat Tolga was born in Istanbul in 1966. He graduated from the Department of
Painting at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1990. After a period of working
as a graphic designer, he fully devoted himself to the art of painting. As a member of
the International Plastic Artists Association (U.P.S.D.), the artist continues his work
as a freelance painter in his studio in Caddebostan.
Murat Tolga, an artist open to new forms, presents his paintings, developed based on
contemporary thinking, and his procedural adventures on canvas to the society's
appreciation.
Continuously exploring new possibilities in his work, the artist finds and experiments
with the fictional structure in his paintings, walking in the footsteps of an investigative
