Bülent Kılıç, known for his Istanbul paintings, was born in Tekirdağ in 1974. The
artist, who has been interested in painting since an early age, studied painting as an
additional discipline while studying teaching at Trakya University. After graduating,
the artist started teaching and while continuing his profession, he also completed his
academic education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
After a while, the artist decided to quit teaching and continue his painting studies; he
visited Istanbul's neighborhoods, islands, Bosphorus, in short, every part of Istanbul
many times, observed, photographed, drew, and began to transfer the beauties of
Istanbul to canvas with great passion. Bülent Kılıç, who has participated in many
exhibitions and auctions with his works, still continues his works in his studio in
Istanbul.
